I went to my favorite trophy hole today, and was blessed with some prety good conditions and one really nice ab. i finally got my first ten incher, which measured 10 3/4. my ten year old pulled his first ab today also a 9 1/4. i was happy to see 8-10 feet of vis and hopefully i find the same conditions and the twin brother of the big guy tomorrow.

Congratulations on your first hubcap, you must feel on top of the world. How about a photo(s)? 10.75 is HUGE, what a way to start. BTW, don't forget to take it to Bodega Pro Dive (if you haven't cleaned it yet) and enter it into the contest for prizes. There aren't alot of entries this year so your chances of winning something are probably pretty good.

Yes, otherwise you can just bring in any old shell from your collection and enter it in the competition. The shell needs to still have the abalone in it.
