Great article. Like I always say to people 'do not fear the ocean, but respect it. Take only what you need with minimal impact to the surroundings. We are only guests here' I was at Saltpoint on April 29th and saw 2 humpbacks in the cove around 7am. I would have never guessed that they come in that close. I asked couple of the park rangers that were working in the park, and they said that it is not unusual to see whales that close this time of the year at Salt point.
