Woke up at 7 am to head to the store and get donuts and stop by and spend a small fortune at the gas station and then headed off to the coast. Arrived in Jenner to see the ocean laying like a sheet of glass. I thought to my self oh ya ! Met up with my friends from Bamboo reef Pam and company at Still water. So we loaded up all 8- peoples gear into my truck and headed down to the loading area. Once we got there of course the prick ranger had to give me a hard time saying I ws taking to long to unload. Know given I had 8-peoples gear suits tanks you name it, alot for one person to unload. We entered the water about 10:30 AM to foggy skys but clam quiet water. we kicked out about 200 yards and decended, hit bottom at about 33 feet and started are dive. I would guess we had about 4 to 5 feet of vis and the deeper we got the darker it got. The kelp ws the bigest problem, man is it really comming in. we swam around seight seing we hit a max depth of 49 feet. Nothing to spectacular, saw a couple of kelp geenlings some kelp crab,1-rock crab and a lot of 7 to 8 inch abalone. So as we started our way back I found a brand new 15lb anchor with new rope ! yepeeeee found tresure ! That somes up the frist dive. The second was way better. The sun had broken through and the vis picked up to 8 to 10 feet and was lit up nice and bright due to sun. We took a strait ahead heading and kicked out about 100 yards and to the north side of the cove. We then descened to a shalow depth of 27 ft and workered are way down to 52 feet. Saw 1-gofer fish several real small fish not sure what they were, and all the usual seights. That sums up the day, hope this was not to boring
