Ab diving on 6-1-08 & scuba on 6-2-08

Went out ab diving on sunday at Horseshoe cove. We arived at 6:30 am to moderate water sonditions. So we got suited up and headed down. We kicked out and anchored off in about 10 ft of water and begun are dive. Word of advice wait till the sun comes all the way up. We found that it was a littles dark once you got under the Kelp and the plum. I would say we had at best 5 to 6 feet of vis. We looked around fro about an hour. My buddy to his limit ranging in sizes from 8 to 8 & 3/4 and my self I did not take any to not finding a ten. I have started carying a ten inch gauge to become more selictive since I already have nine abs on my card already with a lot of seaon left. Wil that pretty much somes up sunday. Monday went out to Wendmeir point with a fellow buddy of mine for a tank dive. We arrived to find a good wind chop on the water, but it appeared to be good vis. We got suited up and carryed all our gear tanks and all down the cliff and begun are dive. We got in and had about a 300 yard kick out to the point and then we descended and begun our dive. We had a good sloid 15 feet of vis. Swam around for about 45 minutes at depth ranging from 40 feet to 5 feet taking pictures and just having fun. In all it ws another great weekend of diving that makes 2 in a row. Looking forward to the 20th thru the 23rd of june and diving Vandamm and the mendoceino coast for abs and scuba should be fun. Also allways looking for new dive buddies, send me ameessage if interested.
