Abalone diver Dies on north Coast !!

Yesterday 5-8-08 a Abalone diver Died on the Sonoma Coast, I am not sure of the detials, but heard a short clip on the news. Also I was at Horseshoe Cove Yesterday getting geared up when I saw Herny 1 Sonoma Countys Sheriff Rescue Helicoptor fly by heading north followed by several Sheriff Vechiles and State Life Gaurds. I know that the water conitions were not the best for diving you were better off rock picking. If any one knows more details please share such as was he diving or rock picking.
