AB regs

Hello can any one give me any insight. I was wondering If go Ablone diving "Free Diving" no scuba in the moring and properly tag my catch and put them in the truck or at my camp and then later that afternoon I do a scuba dive. Know I have abs in possesion which are properly taged as well as scuba in my camp or truck am I in violation what does DFG say on it Help please dont want no tickets or wrose !!!!!
