New punch card system.
Hey fellow ab hunters have you heard about the new punch card and tag system for 2008,From my understanding they are going to give you the report card to log the date time and location as well as individual tags to attach to the shell. They also stated that if you are in a non motorized vessel such as kyacks or paddle bords you do not need to punch your card till you get back to shore and then you must tag the shell and fill out your card immaditly upon coming to shore. If your are in a motor vessel it states you must tag and fill out your card as soon as you board the vessel with your catch also thestated that if you get caught with the tags indivdually and not attached to a shell you can recive a citition. So I guess what I am saying is the system has changed from previous years so be sure to no the new rules and reulations for upcoming season.

That's right a new system, of which is maid up of a report card to fill in a pound plucking and tags that will need to be zip tied or tied with a approved string. As far as a boat is any thing that floats, boat, kayaks, boards, tubes ect... this seems crazy to me that they must be filled out in the water, A boat yes a tube??? any how that’s what the 07 book states. The nice thing about the new tags is you can possess more than one days limit at a time, you'll be able to send them home on long camping trips, which works for me. Than again I have not read the new regs yet, this could all change by the time April gets hear.
