AbaloneDiving.com

If your not a member of AbaloneDiving.com then your missing out! It's a community of divers that get a thrill for abalone diving. I've been diving for quite some time now, although never enough. I remember back when our group rock picked and there didn't seem to be many divers back then. We were always trying to find the next low tide. I remember as a kid wearing pants and trying to find abalone under rocks. I actually did once! I found a 7" ab crawling on a flat rock and I went over and just picked him up. I was a kid then and so I didn't even need a license. That was my first ab. From that point on it just went on. I later found a black ab rock picking, but have since migrated to diving. Diving is an awesome experience and at times I’d rather be under water than above.
A few years ago I got the idea of putting together a web site for the abalone diving community. I’m sorry to say that it sat and sat and sat with little change. I’ve always had the vision to do a little more. Recently with the discovery of some additional web tools, I found a way to build a site where I can have the community of "fellow divers" interact and help with the content. I had found what I was looking for and now capable of sharing my vision. I’d love this site to be a place for divers to share stories, pictures, and find new diving partners or whatever.
I hope you enjoy the site and I’ll see you in the water.
