Ab diving off the zodiac 9-28-08

Met up with my dive buddy Randy Jones at Ocean Cove at 7am on sunday moring to go do some trophy hunting. We arrived to prestine water conditions the only down side was a little fog. So with great anticipation we got suited up and launched. We decdided since the water was so flat and calm that we would try to hit some of the open faces and points that usually are rough. We ended up at a place we decided to call eel Rock because it looked like a face of a wolf eel. Which was on the southern end of Arch richardson ranch, which it only took us about 30 minutes to get there.

Ab diving 9-21-08 at Richardson cove.

Met up with Matt Bielen who is a fellow member of abalone diving.com at 7am at Ocean cove,To go do some ab diving off my zodiac. We arrived to nice clear skyies with a slight breaze and a small swell. made the usually B.S sesion with Dave the security guy at ocean cove for about 10 or 15 minutes. We then got suited up and headed out. I made the choice at that point to head up to Richardson cove due to a couple of reasons, 1-the swell was about 3 to 5 feet and was going to get larger, and that it was the frist time we have dove together and it being my buddies 4th time ever diving.

A day of Ab diving and spear fishing along the sonoma coast 9-14-08

Rob and I launched my Zodiac out of Ocean Cove at 8:30 Sunday morning and screamed up to Sea Ranch which seemed like minutes due to the near perfect day on the water. The water was lying flat and the wind was extremely low. The small presence of fog was the only thing that kept this day from being just perfect. We hit the south end of Sea Ranch for about an hour where we both hunted for abs. We both only took one each when we decided to relocate.

Ab diving off the zodiac.

Went out on the my Zodiac todai for some Ab's. We met up at 7am and headed on up to Ocean cove. As we got to jenner we saw that the fog was extermly thick. We got to Ocean cove abot 8:00 am and were treated to a nice 5foot swell, well what the heck I have done it in worse. So we all got siuted up and launched and got under way. Due to the fog being so thick Thus meaning a long ride in the boat due to not having GPS, fog made us have to hug/stradle the shore line. We ended up heading up to Stwerts Point for some diving it only took us about 1hr to get their.

Scuba dive Horse Shoe cove 7-14-08

Monday, 7-14-08
Melissa and myself met up with a buddy of mine Mike Rogers At 7am at the Jenner "c" store. With total excitement we loaded up our gear into Mike's truck. We began our trip up the coast on Hwy 1. As we came around the corner we saw that we were blessed with table top conditions, like a sheet of glass. At 7am the only down fall was the morning fog. We went to our favorite campground and boat launch at Ocean Cove campground. We were the only ones there, no waiting, we had the campground to ourselves.
